Watford eyeing up Brum's Sadler

At VitalWatford Towers, we`re always a bit dubious of the rumours put out by our friends at Tribal Football and this nugget of Watford-related speculation is no exception…

Apparently the Glory Hornets are heading up a pack of Championship sides - including Wolves and Norwich - having a long hard look at Birmingham left back Mat Sadler with a view to a loan deal.

22 year old Sadler, who made his Brum debut against Man Utd, has had a couple of Premiership runouts this term for Steve Bruce`s side but struggled to break into the first team fold.

Yet he has bags of Championship experience having played 36 times for the Blues in last seasons promotion push and was captain of the England U18 and U19 sides so obviously has a bit of pedigree.

Watford gaffer, Aidy Boothroyd, has said that really does want some cover at left back to put some pressure on Jordan Stewart so the VitalWatford boys can kinda see some truth in this rumour… but hey, ho,its Tribal Football, so we won`t be holding our breath!

Cheers Merlin. The football's not great but it is the results that count

Erm, this is Tribalfootball that linked Doyley to Fulham! That said, I think we need experienced cover for Jordan.
