'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackpool praise for Watford's Jacko

Veteran centre half, Matt Jackson has today returned to Vicarage Road, cutting short his two-month loan at Blackpool

After the defensive injury sustained by Jay DeMerit in Saturday's defeat by West Brom, Aidy Boothroyd re-calld the 35 year old centre half.

Since moving to Vicarage Road in August, Jackson has appeared only in the Carling Cup. His move to Bloomfield has seen him regain match fitness and practice and Tangerines boss, Simon Grayson has been impressed:

'Matt has done extremley well for us and been a popular figure in the dressing room'

Jackson could now feature at Carrow Road on Tuesday night but would go toe-to-toe with Aidy Mariappa for that starting place.
