Aidy praise from Boing Boing Mowbray

Aidy praise from Boing Boing Mowbray

The return of Robbo, the signing of Ellington. Boing Boing Mark Ashton on the Watford board. Ex Baggies boss Keith Burkinshaw as Sir Aidy`s right hand man and even Boothroyd himself has a link to the Hawthorns Academy…

And if the love-in between Watford and West Brom wasn`t strong enough already then Baggies boss Tony Moybray declaring his admiration for the Watford gaffer is enough to warm even the coldest of hearts…

A gushing Mowbray told the doggeared hacks up at the rather posh Birmingham Mail "His (Boothroyd) star rose very quickly from being a coach at Leeds and Albion to going into Watford where he`s done great things and plays a brand of football that is effective".

The former Ipswich, Celtic and Boro star in the Hawthorns hotseat went on to add "His motivational powers are very good and he gives the impression of being a very efficient guy. We`re in a results business and he got those pretty quickly".

Ok, so Mowbray`s not overflowing with praise with the way Sir Aidy has got the Horns playing but hey, the thoughts there…
