'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Boothroyd nominated

The kids are back at school, with any luck the missus is back at work, Watford beat Warnock's boys (literally, boys), we're top of the league and just as you though life couldn't get any better, Aidy is nominated for manager of the month...

The Hornets supremo has seen his side rip up the opposition put in front of him and extend their lead at the top to six points. Five wins from five tells it's own story and our Aidy must be favourite.

The competitors for the covoted monthley accolade are:

Jim Magilton Ipswich Town
Gary Johnson Bristol City &
Ian Holloway Plymouth Argyle

The winner will be announced on Sky Sports News, 12:30 pm this Thursday. Good luck to the four shortlisted gaffers...

Well, I reckon, as I mentioned, Aidy must be the favourite, but Johnson has probably done a better job considering he's Bristol gaffer. Does Aidy want it? No, look what happened to Dowie when he won it with Cov earlier in the season...!

They rarely give it to the favourite. Aidy has done a top drawer job mind.

He deserves to win it. You have certainly started the season well after relegation.
