'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sir Aidy wants more ruthlessness

9 points clear, a 3-0 win at a place we always struggle but Sir Aidy still wants the Good Ship Boothroyd to be a lot more 'ruthless`.

The Watford gaffer saw his Hornets side bruise and bully Coventry for 30 minutes last night before picking the sky blues off in relative comfort with goals through Jinky Johnson, King Marlon and Hendo.

Yet despite claiming he was 'delighted` with the victory at the Ricoh Arena - a ground where the Glory Hornet Boys struggled last time out - Sir Aidy wants more from his team in terms of consistency to put pressure on the chasing pack should the Hornets hit 'a rough patch` in the next 35 league games.

Boothroyd, who is the redtop`s sweetheart at the moment, told the club`s official site "We can get a lot better, we've got to be more ruthless. There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and we have got to make sure we grow in confidence but keep that humility."

Still, a great result against a good side, goals a plenty and a clean sheet to boot.

All's fine and dandy at VitalWatford Towers this morning.
