Will and Scott - loan rangers

Aidy Boothroyd has been a busy little bee (or is that Hornet?!) in the loan market this evening as he packs two fringe players off on short-term loan deals.

Will Hoskins has agreed in principle to join Willie Donachie`s Millwall on-loan for a month after finding his first-team chances limited thus far this season. Hoskins was signed in January and since then has made just four starts for the Hornets, a further six appearances have come from the bench.

A bright young talent undoubtedly, but the arrival of Ellington and the form of Henderson has pushed the 21 year-old to the bottom of the pile. Aidy confirmed recently that he was looking to send Hoskins out on-loan to get some games under his belt and re-capture his scoring form.

Between 2002 and 2007, Hoskins made 35 starts for Rotherham United slamming the ball into the net twenty three times. It was that form that prompted Aidy Boothroyd to splash the best part of 1.2 million on the young forward. Although Will has not, unimpressed, his chances have been few and far between.

Good luck to will in his time at the New Den.

The other Golden Boy heading through the proverbial door marked, 'Exit` is Scott Loach. The young stopper has agreed a one month deal also with the Blue Square Premier outfit.

Loach is the second Hornet on-loan at the club after Cedric Avinel agreed a deal with Stafford a few days ago. Formerly of Lincoln, Loach looked set to join Leeds United on-loan after a pre-season trial but the deal fell through when Kasper Ankergren arrived in Yorkshire permanently.

Good luck to Scott and Stafford Rangers.
