Henderson Signs New Deal
The longest running Watford-related saga of the Summer is over. Darius Henderson has signed a new contract that will keep him at Watford until 2011...or at least until Aidy trys to sell him again!
Henderson has been rewarded for wanting to move by being handed a new bumper deal with vastly improved financial terms.
After a superb performance on Saturday, including a well taken goal, the Doncaster-born forward is once again the darling of Vic' Road, that, sadly, despite few jeers at his announcement on Saturday.
Mr Bodell says:
'Im dissapointed that a player who had expressed his desire to leave has been given a new contract and more money. But, that said, Henderson is a proven Championship goalscorer and has been badly treated in this affair.'
Hot on the trail of Golden Boys news, Vital Watford was quick to break the news that Henderson was set to sign last Friday.
