Au Revoir Johann

Although, as ever, there is no official word from the club, the Watford Observer have announced that Johann Cavalli will leave the club on a free transfer next week.

Cavalli joined the club in January from French 2nd Division Istres and made his debut in the win at West Ham in February. He went on to make another two appearances, one as substitute, failing to find the net. Having earnt himself a reduced squad number for the new season and made his mark in pre-season with a couple of impressive displays against non-league opposition. However it evidently meant very little as Cavalli begins the search for a new club. Foreign

It is yet to be confirmed why the diminutive Frenchman will leave the club, however, if my memory does serve me correctly, his contract will end and he has yet to be offered a new deal by Aidy Boothroyd.
