'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Collins John swap is Double Dutch.

We can't but raise our eyebrows and offer a look of sheer bemusement here at VITALWATFORD as the rumour mill once again kicks into 'full steam ahead' mode.

Ok, so its widely reported that Fulham have made a bid for Bouazza (which has now been confirmed by 'the Good Ship Boothroyd' though he won't say who, what, how or when).

We also know that Captain Boothroyd and his merry band of loyal assistants are big fans of wannabe Dutch striker Collins John and tabled a £3m bid for the Fulham benchwarmer back in January..

But was it really necessary to dredge up the old archives AND 'shock of all shock' link the 2 together...

So its gone from being a straight bid for Bouazza to a 'cash + Collins John' deal...Yes , Dr Watford knows it really isn't rocket science but the redtops do make it feel like it sometimes...

At VITALWATFORD, we half expect to see a quote from a source close to the Fulham tea lady that read 'Watford were one of only 3 clubs in the entire top 8 divisions of english football that did not show an interest in Michael Brown, so we had to re-link them with someone and Collins just seemed logical'...

But it never happened!

If this does turn out to be the agreement then great (though do we want a striker who turned us down when we were in the Prem?) and a 'cash + striker' deal would certainly be something that would make Aidy sit up and listen at the moment...

But, come on guys, enough is really enough...
