Owls to target Darius one more time

So Sheff Wed have pulled out of a deal to sign Southampton striker Gregor Rasiak and will now turn their attentions back onto Glory Hornets hitman, Darius Henderson....

Well, fan-bloody-tastic! Here at VitalWatford, we can't help but feel that maybe, just maybe, Owls boss, Brian Laws, is kinda missing the point when he accuses Saints of 'moving the goalposts'...

After all, let's face it, shifting the target a few metres to the left of centre might, in all fairness, improve Hendo's goalscoring ratio if he does complete a move 'up north'.

Ok, Ok, so that's a tad harsh given he notched up 17 in the promotion season but if Wednesday are looking for goals (and contrary to believe, they do win games), then despite his aerial genius, Darius's accuracy with his feet isn't exactly inch perfect...

Case in point you honour - Man Utd (home), Charlton (away)...4 bloody yards for crying out loud!

So my advice Mr Laws (you can trust me, I'm a Doctor), should you be lucky enough to prize Hendo away from the Vic, is take up Southampton's offer to up sticks, line up a cow and throw in a banjo!!!!!

I would not sell Hendo yet until we get a replacement in. I am sure Priskin/Hoskins will come good but we know Darius can score goals at Championship level.

You can't blame Darius for staying put when the options are PNE and Sheff Wed!
