Flying start for Hornets

Flying start for Hornets

Watford maintained their 100% pre-season record with a 3-0 win against Czech Premier Division outfit SK Ceske Budejovic on tour in Germany.

Second half goals from Jobi McAnuff, Tamas Priskin and sub Anthony McNamee were enough to ensure that Aidy Boothroyd's men came out unscathed.

The game was notable for the third successive clean sheet for stopper Mart Poom.

Hungarian International striker Tamas Priskin has now netted in all 3 pre season games and is forming a tight parternship with King as Boothroyd considers his starting eleven for the opening day fixture at Wolves.
