Tommy Smith believes Watford can fight to the death and stay up this season.
'There are still a lot of points to be won, and our character is our big asset going into the second half of the season,' said Smith, 26.
'All you need is a little break with the fixture list, have two or three winnable games together, and you can suddenly be among the pack again, which is what Sheffield United achieved.
'We believe we can do that. We have a squad of players who won't give up, and we will fight for our lives.'
Go on Tommy! I tell you what you could do on Saturday, and that is score a goal, or even look dangerous with the ball. Cos you haven't done either for quite a while...
