'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hammers fans laughable

Marlon Harewood was cornered by a group of angry fans as he drove away from West Ham's calamitous home defeat by Watford.

The striker, whose penalty miss deepened the Hammers' relegation crisis, was surrounded by around 15 irate supporters venting their frustration 90 minutes after the final whistle.

Alan Curbishley's flops were booed off amid chants of 'You're not fit to wear the shirt', and other players were subjected to abuse through the railings of the cordoned-off staff car park.

But Harewood was singled out for the lynchmob treatment as he turned left out of Upton Park, into heavy traffic, in his dark convertible saloon.

He was heavily booed during the game after his penalty miss.

West Ham fans, be ashamed, be very ashamed.

The only people who should be ashamed are the players. And the only thing laughable is that you still think youve got a chance of staying up!!!!!!!

Whats the point in even writing that article, its a load of rubbish and youve got no members to write articles for anyway!! Very conpetative leaderboard youve got here =-P

The players should indeed be ashamed BUT is personal abuse really going to help? If they have no confidence as it is telling them they are crap when they already know that really helps doesn't it!
bmb
not convinced they'll achieve anything picking on one of the players, how does that help the team spirit?
The Fear
Having a go at the players may give them the kick up the arse they need, and obviously not being given by the manager.
