Watford defender Clarke Carlisle has revealed he has returned to full training and is raring to get into action after almost 10 months out.
Carlisle has almost recovered from a thigh injury and is hoping to get some reserve-team action under his belt in the not-too-distant future.
He told the club's official website: 'The rehabilitation is coming on very well - I'm back in full training now with the lads.
'I'll hopefully get a couple of games for the reserves and then I'll be ready.
'I would like to get back as soon as possible, it's been such a long haul. I'm just desperate to get back into the side.
'It's been unbelievably frustrating.'
I was wondering where he had got to. Clarke is a solid centre-back and it is good that he is regaining his fitness. It's time he paid back Watford's support.
