Stoke City Goalkeeper Signs On As Does Femenia

Stoke City Goalkeeper Signs On As Does Femenia

Former Stoke City goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has now completed a permanent move to Vicarage Road and Watford and we have also signed Spanish right back Kiko Femenia.

The highly rated Austrian Under 21 international spent the last six seasons at the Britannia Stadium and he comes in on a three year contract and has been called up to the full Austrian side in the last two international breaks.

The 22 year old has 16 Under 21 caps to his name as well.

Having taken in game time with Wrexham, Ross County and Bury during his time with Stoke he should be a good addition to our goalkeeping unit.

As for Femenia, the 26 year old was most recently with La Liga side Alaves and he has agreed a four year deal at Vicarage Road.

His two seasons at the Estadio Mendizorrotza saw him play 77 times for the club, including 31 appearances in their top flight in 2016/17, as well as 38 league outings (with five goals) as they secured promotion as Champions the year before.

Femenia was originally a right winger, making his professional debut aged 17 for Hercules and he's also taken time in with both Barcelona and Real Madrid's B Sides.
