Chinese Super League Interest In Okaka?
Stefano Okaka, looking increasingly likely to leave Watford this summer, is now being linked with a move to Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua.
According to the Sun, Shanghai Shenhua are willing to pay Watford £12m for Okaka, who arrived on a five year deal from Anderlecht last summer.
Having recently attracted rumoured attention from Olympiakos, the Greek champions wouldn't be able to compete with the wages on offer from Gus Poyet's Shanghai Shenhua - where Okaka could line up alongside Carlos Tevez.
Okaka would have moved to China in January but a switch to Tianjin Quanjian 'was blocked' by former boss Walter Mazzarri, who had already offloaded Odion Ighalo, as he needed the 27 year old as cover, reports the Sun.
Does Marco Silva have Okaka, 27, in his future plans at Vicarage Road? Apparently the Watford boss does, but with a lucrative deal to the player on the table and a potential £12m windfall for Silva to use towards squad recruitment of his own he'll be willing to relent.
