Murray Man of the Match v Manchester City

Vital Watford readers voted Sean Murray as their 'Man-of-the-Match' against Manchester City on Saturday.

The homegrown midfielder had a storming game in the centre of the park, going toe-to-to with Citizens powerhouse Yaya Toure and England international Jack Rodwell, to take 55 per cent of your vote.

Murray capped a fine display by playing a big part in Watford's second goal.

In second place with 24 per cent of the reader's vote was Fernando Forestieri - scorer of Watford's opener.

The Italian forward worked tirelessly for the cause and was rewarded with a 21st minute opener, completely in line with the run of play.

Deeney and Jonathan Bond each took 6 per cent of the vote to finish joint-third.
