New Watford head coach Giuseppe Sannino says his side's 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday was only a 'starting point' for the Hornets.
Ipswich top-scorer David McGoldrick put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot with 13 minutes remaining before Troy Deeney equalised shortly after to earn Sannino a first point in charge of the 'Orns.
Speaking to The Watford Observer through head of medical Marco Cesarini, Sannino expressed his delight at becoming head coach: "It was a dream for me to land in England. This game was 90 minutes of my life that I was dreaming of.'
The 56 year-old refused to condemn referee Mr Scott for his decision to award a penalty against centre-back Gabriele Angella for handball.
"I am the type of coach who accepts the decisions of the referee so I have nothing to say about it. Even if we lost 1-0, I would say the same thing,' said Sannino.
Sannino also took the opportunity to praise his predecessor, saying that he had only been able to do a limited amount in two days following his appointment on Wednesday.
"My first thought is for Gianfranco Zola because he did a great job here. Last season it was amazing that Watford achieved the Play-Off final.
"I think the position now is not where Watford should be at the moment and in two days I couldn`t do any more than I did and if we had of picked up three points today, it would have been because of Gianfranco.'
Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy told Ipswich's official site that he was content enough with a point.
"We could have won it and with our second-half display, perhaps we deserved to win it," said McCarthy.
"Even after their goal we had a great chance when Luke Hyam hit the bar. It probably would have gone in if he didn`t have an egg shaped bump on his head after a collision in the first-half.'
McCarthy continued: "I`m disappointed we didn`t win it but we could have lost it right at the end so I`m happy enough with the point.'
