Eustace agrees one-year Derby County deal

Former Watford skipper John Eustace has agreed a one-year deal with Derby County.

Eustace, 33, has been training with Nigel Clough's side throughout pre-season and featured during the Rams' pre-season victories over Bohemians and Port Vale.

The midfield enforcer has verbally agreed a one-year deal with the Pride Park and will complete the deal next week, according to The Derbyshire Telegraph.

Solihull-born Eustace has previously spent time on-loan at Derby towards the end of the 2008/09 season, scoring against Watford whilst with the Rams.

Gutted to see him leave but delighted to see he's got a good club. Good luck, John!

Good luck John.. Sad to say but I think it's the right decision.. We certainly saw his best years I think.. Alot of the time he carried the team single handed...
