Cassetti latest to announce new deal on Twitter

Marco Cassetti became the third Watford player today to announce a permanent contract with the club for next

Cassetti, 36, was a revelation at both right wing-back and centre-back last season and has this evening taken to Twitter to announce a one-year permanent contract with the Hornets.

The Italian defender joins Daniel Pudil and Cristian Battocchio earlier in the day in announcing via Twitter that he will join the club permanently this season from Udinese and Granada.

A fans' favourite for his cultured and classy displays at the back, Cassetti was a rock at the heart of the Hornet's defence last term, making 42 appearances in all competitions.
