Watford chief executive Mark Ashton has confirmed that the much-awaited plans for the redevelopment of Vicarage Road will be made public this week.
In the first of his monthly emails to Hornets supporters, Ashton confirmed that a press conference will take place at the club on Thursday 28 September to announce our plans for the stadium redevelopment scheme.
The plans for the redevelopment, which the Watford chief exec says will turn the club into an economically-viable business, are believed to include the building of a new East Stand, a new supporters` bar in the Upper Rous, and an increase in corporate hospitality.
Ashton also confirmed that in future emails to fans he will be addressing the issues of ticketing, membership, access issues around the stadium and the purchase of the popular Red Lion pub.
