Chalobah called up for England double header

Nathaniel Chalobah has been called up by England's U21s to face Romania and Austria.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder, 18, has once again been included as part of Stuart Pearce's England U21 squad as they prepare to take on Romania on March 21 at Wycombe's Adams Park and Austria on March 25 at Brighton's AmEx Stadium.

England's U21s have qualified for this summers U21 European Championships in Israel and these friendlies represent Pearce's last opportunity to assess his young charges before the Championships kick off in June.

Chalobah has won two England U21 caps already and will be looking to secure his place on the plane to Israel in three months time.

Full England U21 Squad:

Goalkeepers: Ben Amos, Jack Butland, Jason Steele & Declan Rudd

Defenders: Ryan Bennett, Steven Caulker, Nathaniel Clyne, Craig Dawson, Tom Lees, Danny Rose, Jack Robinson, Luke Shaw, Adam Smith & Andrew Wisdom.

Midfielders: Tom Carroll, Nathaniel Chalobah, Jordan Henderson, Henri Lasnbury, Jason Lowe, Josh McEachran, Jonjo Shelvey, Raheem Sterling & Andros Townsend.

Strikers: Nathan Delfouneso, Tom Ince, Connor Wickham, Marvin Sordell & Wilfried Zaha.

Again, ditto, especially coming off the back of a niggle which ruled him out vs Blackpool. You've gotta be happy for them deep down, I suppose...
