Aidy: Results will come

Watford supremo Aidy Boothroyd declared that if Watford play like they did in the second period against Villa then wins will come our way.

"I always say that if you get the performances right, the results will follow and I really think we're going to turn someone over soon," explained Boothroyd.

"I was very disappointed with the way we played in the first half, it wasn't the Watford way so I was glad to get to half time at 0-0.

"At the break I thought it was necessary to change things a little because I felt we needed more pace in the side."

"You'd have to be a fool to try to play in a different way with the fantastic players that we have got," he said. "The season is 38 games long and all of the squad will have a part to play. You saw that tonight when Hameur Bouazza came on and did well."

Boothroyd continued: "We certainly created enough chances to win the match so, in a sense, I am disappointed that we didn't get the three points but I was pleased overall with how we played in the second half.

"If we put that together for a whole 90 minute period, we will blitz teams, just like we did last season."
Indeed we will.
