OFFICIAL: Mingoia loaned to Boreham Wood

Young midfielder Piero Mingoia has joined Boreham Wood on-loan until the end of the season.

Mingoia, 21, links up with the Blue Square South outfit on a loan deal until the end of the current campaign.

The attacking midfielder has failed to feature thus far under Gianfranco Zola, moving out on-loan to League Two outfit Accrington Stanley earlier in the campaign.

Wood boss Ian Allinson spoke of his delight at signing the diminutive playmaker on-loan:

"We really are delighted to capture the signing of Piero from Watford on a long term loan,' Allinson told the Official Boreham Wood Site

'He is an exciting young prospect, who we`ve known about for years and we`ve followed his career closely. When his services became available to us on loan, we didn`t hesitate as he will be a great addition to our squad and will I`m sure contribute to our promotion push."

Boreham Wood currently sit third in the Blue Square South, 14 points behind runaway leaders Salisbury City.

Mingoia's contract at Vicarage Road is set to expire this summer.

Good luck, Piero.
