Graham's Sunderland move nets Watford £225k
Former Hornet Danny Graham has joined Sunderland for £5m today, netting the Hornets £225,000.
The 27 year-old striker returns to the North East to join Martin O'Neill's side on a three-and-a-half-year contract for a fee revealed to be £5m.
As part of the deal which took Graham to Swansea City in the summer of 2011, Watford retained a 15 per cent sell-on clause on any profit the Swans made on the Gateshead-born forward.
Swansea paid Watford £3.5m for the former Middlesbrough hitman, meaning a £1.5m profit and £225,000 to boost the Hornet's coffers.
Good luck at Sunderland, Danny!
