Chris Powell ruled out for 3 weeks
Watford defender Chris Powell has been ruled out for three weeks with a calf injury.
The former England defender, who celebrated his 37th birthday on Friday, was ruled out of the trip to the Reebok stadium because of the injury that he picked up in training last week.
Jordan Stewart, who was first-choice left-back last season, will be hoping to keep his place in the team after impressing during Saturday`s 1-0 defeat an the hands of Bolton Wanderers.
Meanwhile, the now injury-prone Clarke Carlisle is recovering from a chest infection while goalkeeper Scot Loach has been ruled out until Christmas after breaking a metatarsal in his right foot in training.
