No smoke at Vicarage Road

No smoke at Vicarage Road

Smoking will be banned at the Vicarage Road Stadium from the start of the 2007/08 season.

This follows government legislation, which is expected to ban smoking in all public places.

Chief Executive of the local NHS Primary Care Trust, Felicity Cox, said: "We are really delighted to be working in partnership with the Watford Football Club on this issue which is causing so many people to lose their health and ability to participate in sport both as supporters and participants. To assist the Club in its positive stance we are offering free-smoking cessation services to help people who want to give up."

Though how the club would enforce the ban remains to be seen…..
