OFFICIAL: Chalobah to remain for the season

Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah will remain on-loan at Watford for the rest of the season, as expected.

An extension was agree to the 18 year-old's loan deal which has original expires yesterday.

The central midfielder-cum-centre back has quickly proved himself to be a key part of Gianfranco Zola's side - an automatic pick when fit.

Speaking to WatfordFC.com the Hornet's Head Coach revealed his delight at getting the deal done:


"It's great news for us. He has become an important player for us since he came to the club," admitted Zola.

"His performances have been getting better and better so we are delighted that Chelsea have decided to leave him here.

The Italian continued: It's good for Nathaniel and it`s also good for Chelsea because he is getting a lot of benefit from this experience''
