Zola expects Chalobah to extend Watford stay

Watford's on-loan Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah looks set to remain at Vicarage Road on-loan for the remainder of the season.

The 18 year-old midfielder-cum-defender has excelled since joining the Hornets on-loan from the Blues on Transfer Deadline Day.

Chalobah has made 16 N.Power Championship starts for the 'Orns, establishing himself as a regular fixture in the centre of midfield.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Gianfranco Zola said he expected the Sierra Leone-born midfielder to remain for the rest of the campaign:

"We`re working on that. We think that things are going to be okay for us. You never know but it looks like Nathaniel should stay with us."

The Italian continued:

"I think it will be very good for him but also for us. Nathaniel has done very well for us and I think he is is getting better and better.'
