Vydra re-affirms desire to remain at Watford
Forward Matej Vydra has once again said he is keen to remain at Watford beyond the end of his loan spell.
The 20 year-old striker has excelled on-loan up to this point, scoring 10 N.Power Championship goals from just 12 league starts since joining on-loan.
In recent weeks the Czech Republic international has played second-fiddle to fellow loanee Fernando Forestieri, but with the Italian-Argentine injured currently, Vydra has re-claimed his striking berth with aplomb.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Vydra was keen to once again stress his desire to remain a Hornet when his loan spell expires:
'I would like to stay here. You really can't compare it with anything else,' said Vydra.
'I have two years left on my Udinese contract, but if I could, I would like to stay in England. This style of football suits me. It is fast and full of challenges.'
The Chotebor-born striker continued:
'After missing most of last year through injury I didn't expect to score so many goals.
'But now that I am, I am glad to be here and anything that I add from now on will be a real bonus.'
