Fernando Forestieri not yet ready to return
Striker Fernando Forestieri is, as yet, not ready to be brought back into the first-team fold following a hamstring injury.
The diminutive Argentine-Italian striker has missed the Hornets last two games against Hull City and Burnley after suffering a problem with his hamstring tendon.
Hornet's Head of Medical, Marco Cesarini told the Official Site:
We musn't expose him to the chance of further injury by returning him to training too early.
'We are monitoring him daily; it's better he's at the right level of fitness before he returns to the group.'
There have also been updates on Lloyd Doyley (calf), Connor Smith (knee) and Dale Bennett (back).
Doyley and Bennett are both continuing their individual rehab programmes, whilst Smith, who injured his knee in training last week, is to undergo a scan.
Meanwhile, John Eustace (back), Nyron Nosworthy (hamstring) and Jonathan Bond are all 'due to resume training' this week.
