'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zola: 'A lot of work ahead of us'

Watford Head Coach Gianfranco Zola was a happy man on Tuesday evening as the Hornets thumped Sheffield Wednesday 4-1 to complete an unbeaten November.

The Italian saw his side fight back from a third-minute setback as Michail Antonio struck for the Owls.

Fernando Forestieri levelled shortly after for the 'Orns before Manuel Almunia made himself a hero by denying Chris Lines from the penalty spot.

Substitute Troy Deeney then grabbed Watford's third before Mark Yeates thrashed home a fourth for the Golden Boys.

Speaking afterwards to watfordfc.com Zola praised his troops.

'It's been hard-earned; we've worked hard to get to this point.

'We will enjoy this moment, of course, but we know we have a lot of work ahead of us.'

Zola also acknowledged the input of his goalkeeper, who kept the score tied at 1-1 at a crucial point:

'It was a big moment, the penalty save from Manu (Manuel Almunia),' he admitted.

Watford host Barnsley next weekend.
