OFFICIAL: Garner loan extended

Striker Joe Garner has extended his loan spell with Carlisle United until December 19.

The 24 year-old forward has been on-loan at Brunton Park since September 18 and will remain with the Cumbrians until he reaches the 93-day 'emergency loan' limit.

Garner has impressed back at his former club, scoring seven goals in 13 league and cup starts for the club.

Boss Greg Abbott had made clear his desire to re-sign the former Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest forward on a longer-team loan deal.
