'If It's Football, It's Vital'

OFFICIAL: Young duo loaned out

Young defensive duo Aaron Tumwa and Matt Bevans have today (Saturday) moved out on-loan to get first team football.

Tumwa, a first year professional, has linked up with Gordon Bartlett's Wealdstone on-loan, whilst Bevans joins Andy Leese's Chesham United.

Centre-back-cum-left-back Tumwa spent time on-loan at Harrow Borough last term before turning professional and will tread a well-worn path between the two clubs.

Tommie Hoban, Connor Smith and Britt Assombalonga all enjoyed loan spells at Grosvenor Vale last season and each player is thriving in the Football League this term.

Bevans on the other hand, is a third year scholar - the only one on the club's books - after being afforded an extra few months to prove himself following his cruciate ligament injury.

The former U18's captain will link up with the generals for 30 days, training at Watford during the week.

Speaking to Watfordfc.com Bevans admitted that the loan move was exactly what he needed.

"I`m fit again and have been for a while now," said Bevans.

"It will be good for me to go on loan, to get a good string of games in a month and hopefully I`ll be stronger and fitter when I finish."

Good luck to both Aaron & Matt!
