Beleck remains at Watford

Striker Steve Leo Beleck remains a Watford player, despite his mysterious tweet on Monday, says head coach Gianfranco Zola.

The 19 year-old Cameroonian tweeted on November 12:

@leosteve8 'Ciao Watford'

In Italian, 'ciao' can either mean 'hello' or 'goodbye', however in this instance it appears it meant the former rather than the latter.

The issue was exacerbated by Beleck then re-tweeting a tweet which suggested he ought to move to Nottingham Forest, now that he'd 'left Watford'.

On-loan from Udinese for the season, the former AEK Athens loanee has made just four substitute appearances since signing for the club over the summer.

However, Zola this afternoon confirmed that the powerful forward remains a Watford player for the time being.
