Abdi absence 'won't be lengthy' after dislocation
Watford`s head of medical Marco Cesarini has today (Wednesday) confirmed that Almen Abdi did dislocate his shoulder at Leeds on Saturday.
Cesarini was however keen to stress that the Swiss international shouldn`t be out of action for too long though.
Speaking to watfordfc.com, Cesarini said:
Almen`s having a scan today, but we`re confident the injury won`t mean a lengthy absence," confirmed Cesarini.
Updates on other members of the Hornet`s squad who are currently sidelined were also provided.
Club captain John Eustace is currently working his way back from a back operation and is back at the training ground.
Defenders Neuton (ankle), Nyron Nosworthy (hamstring) and Fitz Hall (hamstring) are all at various stages of their recoveries, with Neuton running on grass again, Nosworthy set to see a specialist and Hall returning to first-team training.
Midfielder Prince Buaben, also out with a hamstring problem, has been jogging at UCL London Colney whilst Ross Jenkins continues to work his way back from his hip problem.
Striker Alex Geijo is not considered a doubt after leaving Elland Road with a sore hamstring on Saturday.
