Chalobah handed maiden England U21 call-up

On-loan midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has been called up by England U21's for the first time for a friendly next week.

Chalobah, 17, is one of five new faces in the squad who will all be eager to make their England U21's debuts against Northern Ireland next Tuesday as Bloomfield Road.

Also included in the squad for the first time are Manchester United 'keeper Sam Johnstone, Derby winger Will Hughes, Leicester defender Liam Moore & Arsenal forward Benik Afobe.

Central-midfielder-cum-centre-back Chalobah has represented England at every level all the way up to the U21's, making his England U16's debut at the extremely tender age of just 13.

A quality player, but I feel he needs a rest, last 2 games he has gone a stray and given the ball away far too much.. Not a criticism as he is young...
