'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Team News - Peterborough United (H)

Gianfranco Zola has revealed that he will be without defender Neuton for Saturday's clash with Peterborough United, but will welcome back the services of Nyron Nosworthy.

Neuton, 22, twisted his ankle in training earlier in the week and has been wearing a protective boot since.

The Brazilian was still on crutches yesterday afternoon at the Hornet's UCL London Colney training ground and Zola told The Watford Observer yesterday that the Udinese loanee would definitely miss Saturday's game.

"Tomorrow morning we have another scan to confirm. It looks like he`s got something in his toe. We don`t know exactly what it is. It might be a little bruise or it might be a little fracture. Tomorrow we will know more about that."

The unavailability of Neuton will open the door for either Nyron Nosworthy, fresh from scoring for Jamaica in the week, or Joel Ekstrand, yet to make his full debut for the Hornets.

A full Sweden international, Ekstrand made his Hornet's bow at Charlton prior to the international break but has been out of the picture with Neuton the preferred partner to Fitz Hall & Tommie Hoban.

Head Coach Zola has also revealed that he could switch the formation back to 4-3-3 after utilising a 3-5-2 system against Huddersfield Town and Middlesbrough.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Zola admitted a change was in his thinking:

"I thought with a 4-3-3 we were playing well but because of the physical conditions when we were dropping down the rhythm and the intensity we were risking too much,' admitted the Italian.

"I said it already, it`s not that I`m not going to use the other system anymore. I believe the best way to play at the moment is like this and then we`ll see how it goes."

Zola has also admitted that midfielder Stephen McGinn may have to move out on a short-term loan deal in order to get his football as he continues to wait for his first team comeback.

"I spoke to him and obviously if we can find a way where he can go for a while and play some games it will be ideal for him, it will be a lot of benefit for him. But as far as I`m concerned, I`m happy with him, he`s a quality player and he just needs to play."
