Dyche joins England U21 staff

Dyche joins England U21 staff

Former Watford boss Sean Dyche has become the second ex-Hornet's boss to join the England set-up this year, following in the footsteps of Ray Lewington.

The former 'Orns defender, who was sacked by the Pozzo family to make room for Gianfranco Zola, has joined the young lions backroom set up on a temporary basis.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Dyche said of his appointment:

'I knew Stuart when I was a young player at Forest.

'When I came out of playing I asked if I could go along and watch some sessions at Man City when he was there. And Stuart kindly invited me up to St. George`s Park with the team this week to see what`s what and it`s fantastic.'

The 41 year-old arrives in time to watch England's U21 side take on Norway at Chesterfield's B2net Stadium tonight.

Congratulations Sean!
