UPDATED: Deeney released from prison says brother

Troy Deeney has been released from prison, his brother Ellis has this morning revealed on Twitter.

The brother of the Hornet's 23 year-old striker, Ellis Deeney, this morning tweeted to reveal that the Watford No.9 has been freed this morning.

@EllisDeeney91 'Is that @T_Deeney I'm hearing from. on his way home right now. Fucking buzzing'

The former Aston Villa youth team captain later tweeted:

‏@EllisDeeney91 'Yeah its official @T_Deeney is free from prison. And on way home to his family #overlyhappy'

Deeney was jailed on June 25 of this year, but less than three months after being incarcerated for affray, Deeney has been released.

This afternoon (Monday), Deeney himself tweeted from his personal account to confirm his release:

@T_Deeney "Just to confirm to everybody I am released from jail thanks for all ye goo and bad messages will reply to as many as I can"
