OFFICIAL: Mujangi Bia joins on loan

Watford have this afternoon signed highly-rated Belgian winger-cum-forward Geoffrey Mujangi Bia on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

The exciting young prospect has previously been on loan in this country at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he made four appearances for the Midlands outfit.

Mujangi Bia, 23, had been reported as signing for the club by Belgian sources, and as expected, has penned a season-long loan deal from Standard Liege with terms agreed for a permanent move at the end of his loan deal.

The surprise element in the deal being that Udinese are not involved, and that the two-cap Beligan attacker could become a Hornet on a permanent basis.

Born in DR Congo, the Belgian international scored 12 times in 14 games for Standard last season.

Welcome to Watford, Geoffrey.
