Watford trio miss Wycombe clash

Steve Leo Beleck, Stephen McGinn and Fitz Hall will all miss Saturday's season-opener in the Capital One Cup, says Gianfranco Zola.

The trio have only featured briefly during pre-season due to fitness and injury issues with only Beleck getting game time.

The Hornet's kick off the 2012/13 campaign on Saturday at home to Wanderers and will be without the trio for definite, but could also be without Daniel Pudil and Almen Abdi in the worst-case scenario.

Defender Pudil was substituted with cramp after 10 minutes against Spurs last Sunday, whilst Abdi failed to make the squad altogether. However, Zola has confirmed that the loan duo are only 'doubts' and could well make his first competitive match as Watford boss.

Speaking to The Watford Observer, Zola said:

'[Almen] Abdi should be involved ifor Saturday`s game,' Said Zola.

'Fortunately [Daniel] Pudil's injury is not bad, but I'm not sure whether he is going to be able to play, we will see in our last session tomorrow.'

Zola continued:

'Fitz Hall will be out of the game, and probably [Steve Leo] Beleck, he won`t be able to play as well.'
