Watford trial for ex-Hibs 'keeper
Former Hibernian and Arsenal goalkeeper Graham Stack will spend the next week on trial at Watford, according to Herald Scotland.
Stack will join former Arsenal colleague Manuel Almunia in training with the Hornets will trying to earn a move to Hertfordshire. Irishman Stack spent last week on trial at Preston North End.
In a career spanning 12 years, the Hampstead-born stopper has been a perennial understudy, making just 99 career league starts and taking in spells with nine different clubs during that time after starting out at Highbury.
However, the 30 year-old is also interesting newco Rangers and has admitted that he would be prepared to play in the Scottish Division Three for Ally McCoist's side.
Speaking to Herald Scotland, Stack said:
'I've not had any discussions with anyone there, but Rangers are a massive club and, of course, I would be interested in speaking to them. I've played in Scotland for three years and I'm keen to stay up here, so Rangers would be a fantastic option for someone like me.'
Sounds like more of a plea than concrete interest from the Glasgow giants if you ask me!
