New Hornet's coaching staff appointed

New Hornet's coaching staff appointed

As expected three members of Watford's coaching staff under Sean Dyche have been replaced with five further new faces being appointed to brand-new roles.

Assistant Manager Ian Woan, First-Team Coach Tony Loughlan and Head of Medical Dave Hart all departed following Gianfranco Zola's appointment.

Coming in are Adolofo Sormani (Assistant Coach), Giancarlo Corradini (Assistant Coach) and Marco Cesarini (Head of Medical).

Sormani, 47, a former midfielder, turned out for Napoli, Rimini and Parma during a 16-year playing career in Serie A.

Fellow assistant, Corradini, 51, had a brief two-game spell in charge of Juventus in their Serie B days following the Calciopoli scandal. The former centre-back lost both games before quitting to manage Venezia and Cuneo.

Also arriving in newly-creates roles are Head of Rehabilitation Giorgio Gasparini, Football Operations Manager Richard Line, Recruitment Scout, Filippo Giraldi, Scouting Network Co-Ordinator Robert Leeson & Scouting Co-Ordinator Luke Warrington.

None of the new appointments have been announced via the official club website, though all eight are listed under the 'Who's Who' section of the site.

No announcement has yet been made regarding the future of Head of Football Business, Ross Wilson.
