Blackburn enter Loach race

Championship new-boys Blackburn Rovers have entered the race for Scott Loach, according to Sky Sports News.

Watford accepted a bid late yesterday afternoon for the 24 year-old goalkeeper, who looked set to a seal a return to Suffolk.

However, Steve Kean's side now appear to have joined the chase for the Hornet's former England U21 stopper.

Whilst Blackburn Rovers' established number one Paul Robinson remains at Ewood Park, the former England goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Turkey in recent times.

And, with the well-documented financial issues at the Lancashire club, the former Spurs and Leeds stopper could well be sacrificed to cut the wage bill, paving the way for Loach.

I'd say in this market, yes! He might not have had a great season. But he is atoll a good 'keeper in my eyes.
