Backroom staff set to follow Dyche?

Three members of the backroom staff are set to follow Sean Dyche out of Vicarage Road as Gianfranco Zola clears the decks for his own staff.

Assistant manager Ian Woan, first-team coach Tony Loughlan and head of medical Dave Hart are all set to leave the Vic' according to The Watford Observer.

The trio all joined the Hornets last summer as Dyche put together his first coaching staff.

However, with Adolfo Sormani expected to become Zola's new right-hand man and Giancarlo Corradini also set to take a role in the new setup, Zola will have to make room for his own team.

It is understood however that long-standing goalkeeping coach and Watford legend Alec Chamberlain will remain in his role.

Vital Watford will be at tomorrow's press conference to introduce Zola, new director of football Gianluca Nani and new CEO, Scott Duxbury.

We won't be allowed to tweet during the press conference, however we will be uploading a piece on what was said once it's over, so remember to check the site!

I won't be losing any sleep over these staff leaving.. It was always going to happen when the take over went through... Does anyone know if the football league has aloud the sale?? I don't know how it works.. Is it all sorted now & binding??

Agreed, new managers want Thai own staff - fact of life. Well, haven't heard any sort of announcement but I daresay that this far down te line it has all been ratified!
