Ex-Napoli coach set to assist Zola

Former Napoli coach Adolfo Sormani is understood to be the man who will be Gianfranco Zola's assistant at Vicarage Road.

The 46 year-old left his post as a coach with the Naples club on June 30 and according to IamNaples, will become Zola's number two.

Sormani's playing career ended in 2000, having made over 350 appearances in Italian football for Parma amongst others.

Three years coaching Juventus's youth sides preceded his two years with Napoli.

Sounds very good... We are slowly creeping towards the new season & for a while I'm full of hope... I think this could be the start of something very special... I'm looking forwards to Lloyds match & the legends match before... Can't wait for the new season to start...
