McGinn not joining Mackay at Cardiff

McGinn not joining Mackay at Cardiff

Despite heavy speculation to the contrary, out-of-contract midfielder Stephen McGinn will not be joining Cardiff City this summer.

The Hornet's Scottish midfielder has been linked with a re-union in south Wales with the man who brought him to WD18, Malky Mackay.

And, whilst McGinn is yet to sign a contract offered to him at the end of last season, The Watford Observer have Tweeted to say McGinn will not be joining the Bluebirds.

@Observer_Owl 'Seen a few people having a pop at Stephen McGinn due to claims he is joining Cardiff City on free transfer. That's definitely not happening'

Clearly if the Wobby's sources are well places enough, McGinn might still be wearing yellow next season.

Hope he does stay.. It'll be like signing a brand new player... I hope he can carry on where he left off.... At first maybe not but given time I think he will come good.....

Perhaps, but with the contracts expiring in three days I fully expect him to be elsewhere, and honestly, with Buaben, Eustace, Hogg & Jenkins on the books, do we really and truly need him? Nope.
