Happy Egg Company named as shirt sponsor

Happy Egg Company named as shirt sponsor

Watford have this morning announced the first-team shirts will be sponsored by 'The Happy Egg Company' next season.

A one-year agreement has been struck between the two parties and the Happy Egg Company logo will adorn Watford's home and away strips next season.

The Happy Egg Company are a local company, based in Hertfordshire, and the largest producer of free-range eggs in the country.

Watford's new 2012/13 replica kits will feature a QR code on the sponsor's logo, which, once scanned by a smartphone, will take you to The Happy Egg Companies website.

Pioneering, if not slightly odd.

The dear shirt will look terrible.. Though I've never liked sponsorship on my football shirts... I used to like it when U had to pay extra to be a bill board...

Won't make much difference in the grand scheme of things. Those who buy the shirt at £40/£45 quid on release always will, irrespective of the design/sponsor. Anyone with a bit of nous who waits until it's slashed to a fiver 9 months later may think twice though...
