Hornets face Haverhill Rovers in friendly
A Watford XI will travel to Suffolk to face Haverhill Rovers in an August friendly.
A Watford XI, expected to be made up of first-year pro's and scholars, will player Haverhill Rovers on August 28.
The n.Power Championship season kicks off on August 18 so the game will be designed for scholars and development players.
Rovers boss Peter Betts said of the fixture:
"We expect them to bring a mixture of first year professionals and second year scholars, so we expect them to be stronger than Ipswich [who visited last year].' Betts told The Haverhill Echo
"It will be great for the local community to see Championship-standard players and professional players turning up in Haverhill."
